The Colours of Magic event has returned, giving Tibians until September 23 to choose between Furb of Fun, Feiz of Power and Fern of Nature.
TIBIA — Something unusual is happening in the streets of the great cities.
There are no armies marching toward the gates. No ancient creature has emerged from beneath the earth. Yet across Tibia, strange colours are beginning to appear wherever adventurers gather.
Red. Blue. Yellow.
And behind them stand three wizards who have once again decided that the time has come to discover which of them commands the greatest following.
Three Wizards, Three Visions
The contest brings back three familiar names.
Furb of Fun, the orange wizard, promises a world where celebration and companionship have their own kind of power.
Feiz of Power, surrounded by violet, represents those who would rather see strength increased than fireworks launched.
And then there is Fern of Nature, whose green followers seem to prefer a simpler form of magic: keeping Tibians alive.
Their rivalry has spread throughout the world, and this time the citizens of each game world will decide which wizard deserves the most followers.
Colours Are Appearing in the Wild
The first signs of the contest are not being found in wizard towers.
They are being found in monster corpses.
Various creatures are now carrying mysterious envelopes containing coloured powders. The powders can be used to mark a Tibian with a colour, while mixing different colours can lead an adventurer toward one of the three competing wizards.
It has already become difficult to tell where the contest ends and ordinary hunting begins.
A creature falls.
An envelope appears.
And suddenly, someone’s colour may have changed.
The Wizards Have Their Witnesses
For those who want to understand the rivalry before choosing a side, each wizard has a loyal supporter watching the contest.
Friedolin can be found in Carlin, standing for Furb.
Paulette represents Feiz in Thais.
And in Venore, Nathaniel keeps watch for Fern.
The three supporters know more than most ordinary citizens about the competition. They can provide information about colours, the chosen wizard and the current state of the contest.
In other words, anyone seriously considering joining the rivalry knows where to ask questions.
Whether they should trust the answers is another matter.
A Victory That Will Affect Everyone
There is more at stake than personal allegiance.
When the contest concludes on September 23, the wizard with the most followers on each world will determine which special reward that world receives for the following week.
A victory for Furb of Fun would bring stronger shared experience in party hunts, greater success when sculpting from ice and marble, and a collection of festive items appearing among creatures that carry the event envelopes.
Feiz of Power would favour spellcasters and strengthen several potion effects.
Fern of Nature offers perhaps the most straightforward promise of all: improved health and mana potions.
Three wizards.
Three philosophies.
Three very different consequences.
The Choice Belongs to the Tibians
There is still time for the colours to spread.
The contest is not decided by a distant council or an ancient prophecy. It depends on the people walking the streets, opening monster corpses and deciding which colour they are willing to carry.
For some, it will be about power.
For others, nature.
And for a few, perhaps the only sensible choice is to see what happens when the world decides that having fun is a legitimate form of magic.
The Colours of Magic have returned.
The question now travelling from city to city is a simple one:
What is your true colour?
